Build Items are used mainly to boost your economic/military/other effects, either permanently or temporarily. You can start using them from level 11 and after building Construction yard.
At this point, a new icon has appeared that will take you to the storage of build items. Here you can assign them to certain buildings, disassemble them or even craft them (in the second tab).
But to get our bearings on what build items we actually want to assign, let’s divide them into groups first.
Classification according to the slot in what we place them
- Primary build items
- Appearance build items
- Relic build items
Classification according to the rarity of the build item
- Ordinary (grey) – the weakest items
- Rare (green)
- Epic (violet)
- Legendary (gold) – the strongest items
- Unique (red) – this red cathegory is usually only for items without effects and you will encounter it only in appearance items
Classification according to the duration of the build item
- Temporary – for these build items, there is always listed a time for how long the effect of the item will last. The countdown starts the moment you put the item on the building
- Permanent
Where to get them?
Primary or relic building items can be obtained for example by crafting them here in this tab. Then for example from rewards, in event shops. And of course if you want really top items, then by buying them in the shop.
Crafting of the build items
Let’s say, for example, that I want to make a very basic build item for food production. What do I need for that? In order to produce higher levels of a build item, I need to do the proper research for the proper plan, I also need to have produced a previous level item that will be consumed and upgraded, and I need to have enough materials.
In this case, I can’t make a level 10 item, because all I have is enough material. So I can only craft level 1 for now.
Once I’ve crafted level 1, I can move on to crafting level 2.
And so on… gradually progressing to higher levels.
Now let’s talk about materials. We have three sets of materials in the game. Basic, medium rare and BTH (Beyon the Horizon) materials – these are the rarest and are used to create the most powerful items.
Basic materials
They can be obtained in Armorer, Master Blacksmith for silver tokens, or for example by decomposing no longer useful weaker items.
Medium rare materials
Also these can be obtained in Armorer, Master Blacksmith for silver tokens, or for example by decomposing no longer useful weaker items.
BTH materials
These materials can only be obtained by playing Beyond the Horizon event or by disassembling the premium items.
Upgrading / decomposing of items
Upgrading primary/relic build items is done in the build item window, as already shown. Upgrading appearance items (hexagonal items) can only be done by using the booster to increase their rarity. For example, here I put the Ordinary appearance item on the Hospital. At this moment I want to improve the attributes of this item, so I click on “Boost temporary item”.
Here you can see how many boosters you have available and how the item stats change after using a booster.
So if you use gold booster – this item will give +60% front unit limit for 60 hours, if you use green booster, you will get only +30% for 36 hours.
Important rule, the booster must always be at least one level higher in rarity than your default item. So you can’t for example use a rare booster on a rare item.
Decomposing of items
Primary and relic items are decomposed into the material from which they were created. Appearance items are decomposed into boosters/coins. Here it depends what item (what rarities) you are decomposing.
