A grave danger is upon us! Dark power all over the Great Empire have opened up gateways to other worlds! Castle lords from another empire are invading our realm!
The War of the Realms event is available from level 20+
When you start the event, you need to understand what difficulty you want to play and if you want to play the Event Difficulty Scaling version at all. You always have a choice. But once you choose your difficulty, you can’t change it again during the event. The scaling version contains more valuable rewards than the classic mode (sceatts, tokens, BTH material), but to achieve this you will need to accumulate a lot of points at higher levels, so if you are a beginner, it is better to try one of the lower difficulties first, or possibly choose the classic mode. Beginners, don’t be afraid of having level 70 castles in front of you. All castles in the scaling version are level 70. The difference is in the strength and amount of castle defenders. So even at the lowest level you will see level 70, but the units you have to defeat are really very weak.
At the beginning we all have the 4 easiest difficulties unlocked, the harder ones can be unlocked by completing these quests or one-time for rubies. The hardest difficulty (archmaster) can only be unlocked for rubies.
Also, don’t forget that the difficulty scaling version of FLs/BCs mirrors your account. So it may happen that a player who chooses the same difficulty may have slightly different castles than another player who plays the same difficulty.
Now to the actual mechanics of the event.
Each player has 10 castles around the castle that can be attacked. These castles will disappear from the map after each attack, and after some time new ones will appear in their place. Usually the cooldown is around 15-30 min.
Your goal is to earn as many points as possible to get the most rewards and you can also get titles for top placements.
Beware War of the Realm castles are considered as player targets, so non-player bonuses do not apply to them. And if you have activated protection mode, attacking them will cancel it.
What is dethroning?
If you’ve spied a castle and you don’t like its defense settings or the amount of defenders, you have a few options. You can exile the castle lord or fortify the castle for rubies. The more times you use this, the more expensive the cost will be. This feature is available only for levels 70+
What tools to use when attacking War of the Realms targets?
You can use either classic tools or event tools. Event tools have the advantage that some of them have a bonus to the glory, so you get more glory points when using them than you would have gotten for the same attack if you hadn’t used them. Beware though – event tools, since they contain bonuses, are always all consumed and do not come back like unused normal tools.
How to influence (increase) the amount of glory earned?
For example, higher honour (up to 3000), used bonus tools and other individual/alliance bonuses will help you. You also need to take into account which troops you are defeating. Stronger troops give more glory.
Is this event part of the Kingdom league and LTPE?
Yes this event is usually part of both, the Kingdom League and LTPE, so playing this event earns you points for both events.
